May Update

Dear Special Friends,

Thank you, for your support in helping to spread the love of God throughout England and the world.  You are a continual source of joy and encouragement to us as you faithfully pray and stand with us financially. 

Level of Support
 Thank you, for your financial gifts that you have sent in for April.  Praise the Lord that we had met the support target for April.  Sue and I are still asking God for more people to join our support team, with their monthly or quarterly  financial gifts.  We love to have our English brothers and sisters in Christ become apart of our financial and prayer support team.   

Transform 2010 Mission
Thank you, for the gifts that you have given towards our Mediterranean mission this summer.  We believe God for remaining balance of $1,500.00 (1,000.00 GBP) to cover the outstanding balance for the outreach and airfare.

In the news, we are hearing of political unrest in Athens, Greece.  The country is experiencing economic failure, as a result they are protesting against the government.  Sue and I are concerned that we could get to Greece but not get back home to England.  I have emailed Operation Mobilization concerning this protest, and they have not heard anything on canceling the outreach.  Pray for wisdom that we will know what to do concerning our trip to Greece.

 New Ministry Opportunity
I told our Vicar (Pastor) of my church, about my desire to be a nursing home Chaplin.  The Vicar is going to connect us with a couple in the church who are already doing a church service once a month in a local nursing home.

UK Election
May 6 is Election Day in the United Kingdom.  By the time you read this update we will have a new government or so I hope.
