Thank you for financial gifts. Praise the Lord for the gifts that came in for February. We met our budgeted level of support for this month.  Praise The Lord for a new member to our support team. We are still asking God for more people to join our support team. We are asking for people to give £20, £80, £500 or other each month. I can make available a direct debit form if you prefer to give in this way. 

Upcoming Outreaches
In March, we have two outreaches taking place at the same time.  The first is in Lester, March 11-21.  The second is in Coventry, March 13-25. I will be working on the Coventry outreach. The Easter outreach will run April 3-11 in Birmingham, England.

Update on Transform 2010
Greece was the first European country to be evangelized. Paul journeyed to cities like Philippi, Thessaloniki, Athens and Corinth.  The Orthodox Church kept the Hellenic (Greek) culture and language alive throughout the 400 years of the Ottoman rule. Greece is one of the first nations in the world to be officially Christian, by constitution, defining the State of Greece as Christian Orthodox. Today, modern Greek society enjoys increasing prosperity with membership in the European Union and a younger generation that is more open to new ideas, both good and bad. In the book of Daniel, chapter eight, Greece is one of the places mentioned as part of end-times events.

Redemptive Purpose: Paul, in the book of Romans, identifies two main groups: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”  Even though the lands were controlled by the Romans, Greek philosophy and culture were the main influence. The New Testament was written in Greek. The Greeks were/are the people of intelligence and wisdom, who built the foundation of the modern Western civilisation.

Key Scripture to Pray: During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” (Acts 16:9) Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom.
