Thank you, for your continued commitment to praying and financially supporting my work here in England.
60 Plus Group
The Fatherless Barn Church is now in its second year of having a Sixty
Plus Group. We have twenty people or so, age 60 and up, attending the
luncheon and staying for the interesting speaker twice a month. I am
doing the promotion for them. Sue and I are helping with this ministry
by serving the food and helping wherever we are needed. It seems that
everyone who comes to the 60 Plus group is connected to a local
church.
Book Table in Birmingham
On the Tuesdays when I am not doing the 60 Plus Group, I will be found
standing at or around the Alum Rock Team Book Table in the City
Center. I mostly hand out tracts and try to get into a conversation.
Last time I was out there, it was a challenge to hand out tracts, let
alone have a conversation. The reason is that there were not a lot of
people passing by. Still, Sue and I handed out a number of tracts on
that very cold day.
Global Challenge
Last year Global Challenge saw over 150 people come to experience
missions. This year we have a goal of 225, and it looks like we will
meet this goal. There is a team from the U.S.A. coming from 8 to 16
March 2008. We will do door-to-door, a youth meeting and school
assembly. This is one of the upcoming Global Challenge Outreaches.
England News
Recently in our local and national news, there have been many reports
of missing children, child abuse and murder. Kids as young as 10 to 16
years of age had done some of these murders.
Prayer Requests
1. Pray for the upcoming mission.
2. Pray for my work with the Book Table, and for my work with the
other teams.
3. Pray that God will protect us as we share the “Good News.”
4. Pray that England will not allow Muslim law to come into England.
5. Pray for the UK Parliament, that God will guide them, to make right
all the wrong in society.
