Greetings from England,

      Thank you for your commitment to prayers for my ministry and to financially supporting the work at OM Life Hope. Thank you also for praying for the OM Life Hope ministry here in the United Kingdom. Your prayers make a difference in my life and work. Moreover, of course, your faithfulness in funding this ministry is so helpful and encouraging. Without you and others standing with me, it would not be possible for me to serve Him in the task of helping fulfill the Great Commission.

      Currently, we have a team from Colorado Christian University working with us from 9 to 31 May 2007. Many of the participants in this team have never been on a short term mission, nor have they been outside of the US. I have been encouraged and challenged by the way they have approached this mission. The team's willingness to move out of their comfort zone, to do whatever is asked of them, is encouraging. For instance, they were out in Birmingham Center handing out tracts. For some of the students, this was a challenge. The reason for this is that tracting is not part of what they like to do, whereas sharing Jesus is.

      The next day, I shared a story of a man who handed out our tracts for many years. As a result, he saw many people come to Christ.

      Recently, Alum Rock Church held an International Night. For this event, they had performances from South Korea, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and the USA. My part for the evening was doing some magic tricks. After the show, I had a chance to talk to some of the students. Many of them remembered me from last year.

MOST EXCITING NEWS

 I have left the very best for last. You will be pleased to hear that I have met a lovely young English lady named Sue, and we plan to be married on 11 August 2007 in England. We are so happy together. This has been a real answer to everyone's prayers and I thank everyone of you for those prayers for me and my happiness. We plan to come back to the States in October, 2007. Our biggest problem now is being able to find good air fare rates to make the trip. The current cost is around $3,000 for that time of the year. When we are able to have a time and place set up for a reception, you will all be invited to meet my new bride. I shall be one proud groom!

 

PRAYER REQUESTS

 . Pray for the Colorado Christian University Team as they reach out with the Good News of Christ in Birmingham.

. Pray for my upcoming wedding.

. Pray for me, that I will remain close to God, and that all I do and say will be pleasing in His sight.

. Pray for people to come to Life Hope to fill our important key support role.
