Thank
you, for your prayers and financial gifts of supports. First, I thank
my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of
throughout the whole world. (Rom1:8).Wow! 2007 was such an awesome year, and 2008 is starting to be even more awesome than last year. The resent New Year outreach Joy in the City influenced many lives for Christ.
Here are some interesting
facts from Joy in the City:
* Three people received Christ for the first time, including a father
and daughter!
* More than 700 doors were knocked on New Years Day with the offer of
a free bar of chocolate and a Gospel tract.
* An additional 300 chocolate bars and tracts were given on the
streets.
* There were more than 2000 tracts given out during the three open Air
events and the two evenings on Broad Street.
* There were dozens of conversations on the streets where the Gospel
was presented to the people.
* Twenty three homeless men attended a special supper and evangelistic
program organized by the church and OM team.
* The OM team took the Sunday Morning service. The team performed a
drama, 2 songs and gave a testimony. Steve Critchlow, the OM Lifehope
director preached.
* More than 800 people packed church on New Years Eve for a time of
worship and praying in the New Year. The OM team helped in many
practical ways throughout the evening.
