Greetings from England,

We thank you so much for all your prayers. They are very much valued and appreciated. Thank you for your continued financial support. Thank you for all you have done in meeting my urgent need for support. I praise the Lord for all your continued blessings

This month for the first time, I, Sue Ambrose (Doug’s wife) am going to be filling you in on the latest news and matters for prayer. Since marrying Doug last August, I have started to take a more active roll at the OM Base. I have started to work on the reception desk as a volunteer and in the finance office. Both areas are struggling for need of more people to volunteer, in particular the finance office. Steve, who is the main worker in there, is trying to train me as well as do his own work and he only comes in on one day a week. The rest of the time he works at our main office which is based in Oswestry, which is on the Welsh, Shropshire border. This is making things a little tense for me in there, as I have never done this kind of work before. I feel nervous and uncertain, so this is one area that needs your much valued prayers, please.

The base is also in need of other people to step into the field as there are quite a few people leaving them to go to new pastures. In September, we will be losing Jochum who is the IT expert at the base and is a vital member of the team - so we really need someone to take on that role as soon as possible. We lost our main handyman, Dell, at the end of last year and so far have only a couple of people who can work part-time.

Doug and myself also are involved in a ministry at the church. It’s called 60+ group and we have a good regular attendance. We were told at a dinner party we attended the other night, of one lady who’s life has taken on a new meaning since coming to the group! She was feeling low and didn’t really manage to get out much, but since she started coming to the group, she plays the piano and takes an active role! Her daughter says it’s made such a difference and changed her outlook on life.

Future plans for August
We are looking to be back in the states for a week or two at the end of August 2008. Please pray for the needed amount of money for the trip. Then in July 09, we are planning to be back in the States for home assignment.
