First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world (Romans 1:8). We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other (2 Thessalonians 1:3). Thank you for your faithful commitment to praying and financially supporting our work in England. 
 
New Year Outreach
January 3 saw the end of the New Year Outreach. Both our team and members of Green Lane Baptist Church in Walsall were excited to see what God had done with this outreach. We were even more encouraged when we had learned that this church had not done anything like this in 21 years.

I had a great time on this outreach doing door-to-door, prayer walking and tracting in the city centre. While on the doors, I met an elderly couple with all sorts of excuses as to why they could not come to the church, saying things like they cannot walk very far. I countered this excuse with, “I am sure if you ring the church, they would give you a ride.”
I want to go back to Green Lane Baptist Church and continue the work we re-started.

Transform 2010 Mission
Things are moving along in preparation for the outreach in Rome, Italy and Greece.  On this outreach, Sue and I will work with a local church in reaching out in the community. We are praying for the shortage of financial gifts to be met in time for the mission.
